COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND CLIMATE ACTION WORKER
NTDC INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE CRITERIA OF THE JOB
SPECIFICATION INCLUDING:
* Third Level Qualification in Community Development, Rural
Development, Social Science, or other relevant discipline (level 8)
* A minimum of 2/3 years’ experience working in the community
development sector in a similar role.
* Relevant Community Development work experience in programme
development and delivery
* Understanding of Climate Action policy and planning with a
particular understanding of the social inclusion issues relating to
Just Transition
* Knowledge of current community development initiatives & community
development work
* Significant understanding of the intersections between community
development, education, health and climate action
* Extensive experience in working in the area of climate action and
social inclusion
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full-time position - working * hours per week.
Flexibility will be required, some weekends and evenings. The role is
initially a * Month Fixed Term Contract
